About the Orthodontics Master Program
Orthodontics is the branch of dentistry concerned with facial growth, with the development of the dentition and occlusion, and with the diagnosis, interception, and treatment of occlusal anomalies.

The Masters of Science (MSc) degree in Orthodontics combines advanced academic, clinical and research training along with the experience of patient care (clinical and non-clinical). Benchmarked against international standards, we aim to provide our postgraduate dental students with rich and diversified learning opportunities, to ensure they are prepared with the knowledge, skills, and experience to serve the community and promote excellence within the healthcare system.

1.1  Aims of Training

The trainee should acquire the appropriate knowledge, attitudes and skills of a Specialist Orthodontist. Trainees should possess a sense of professionalism, interest and enquiry. These characteristics should encourage the specialist to maintain competency throughout their career by the continuous pursuit of Continuing Professional Development.

1.2  Objectives of the 3 year programme
